Dust Devil Ranch Sanctuary for Horses takes in abused, neglected and abandoned horses that have been left at various areas around the state. The BLM, State of Utah and Iron County, along with others have brought numerous horses that were signed over or seized to our care. We provide complete veterinary & farrier care, rehabilitation and training so they can be adopted. Our adopters are the community at large, Law Enforcement, Search & Rescue, Equine Therapy Centers, just to name a few. Horses that cannot be adopted because of age and/or special needs will live their lives with love and care at our relaxed environment. We also are educating the community about horse care.
We believe in the humane treatment of animals. We provide comfortable shelter, food, grooming, medical care and a dignified life. We rehabilitate and retrain horses to be adopted to well-screened homes, where they can again serve a useful purpose and be loved. We feel the best way to prevent abuse & neglect is through education.
